Congressman Stewart Awarded “Prosperity Council FREEDOM AWARD” at Launch Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Prosperity Council successfully hosted its inaugural event on May 29th at the Little America in Downtown Salt Lake City. The launch event featured Opportunity Zone experts, Patrick Mullen (Utah Association of Counties), Adam Chamberlin (WSRP), and Brett Siglin (Jennings Strouss Law), to discuss why potentially trillions of capital gains are seeking businesses in opportunity zones and the implications that has specifically in Utah. Congressman Chris Stewart also addressed those in attendance about the importance of the free market system and why it is critical that the business community fight socialist policies that are becoming popular politically.

Congressman Stewart was presented the PROSPERITY COUNCIL FREEDOM AWARD from the members and leadership of Prosperity Council for his efforts to protect the free market system.

“We are pleased with the presentations and networking that took place at the launch event and especially grateful for Congressman Stewart’s remarks,” stated Trent Staggs, President of Prosperity Council. “We look forward to continuing to bring noted experts to present at Prosperity Council events and providing opportunities for members to get more engaged politically.”

Prosperity Council’s next event will be on August 22nd where Public Private Partnerships and block chain technology will be discussed. For more information please visit ProsperityCouncil.org/Events.
